Aitor Lekue

Hi! I’m Aitor Lekue, a camera operator and filmmaker based in Madrid with over 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry. I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, including films, TV productions, fiction series, documentaries, and commercials.

I have filmed in over 30 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Oceania for television productions and country branding projects. 

My work has included interviewing heads of state, diplomats, CEOs of major corporations, and covering key aspects of business developments and social investment initiatives.

My expertise spans multiple disciplines; Dop, steadicam and polecam op.

I am passionate about combining technical precision with visual artistry, which allows me to adapt to each project’s needs and stay current with industry trends. With extensive experience in international country branding documentaries, I strive to capture the best images in any situation, equipped with the most suitable gear for each location.
